About Membership and Mailing Lists

Membership in the SJA enables you to participate in SJA-hosted events, as well as join the SJA mailing list.

The SJA is home to students of many ethnicities and nationalities with a shared interest in Japan. In order to facilitate the sharing of important information via the mailing list, we request that all emails sent to the main mailing list be written: (1) In English, (2) in both English and Japanese, or (3) in Japanese annotated with English. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us improve the SJA community.

Individuals about to arrive at Stanford for work or study in in the near future are also welcome. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the SJA Officers.
